The Sherpa Rod Case functions like a gun case with it's clam shell design. This eliminates the need to bundle rods and pack into your standard rod tube eliminating broken guides and scratched rods. Another advantage to this design is that TSA employees can easily check the contents of the case without having to pull the bundle of rods out and try(key word) to push back in which often results in broken guides. Velcro straps secure rods in place against the soft yet durable foam backed doeskin interior.
